The capacitor is the key component that determines the power as well as the life span of the monolight . These customized capacitors have a record of almost a million flashes at the triggering test by a school photography customer in the U.S.
- Modular circuit board design: The circuit boards, including the capacitor board, are a plug-in, modular design with no soldering or internal wiring making them safe and easy to replace or repair.
- Noise reduction cooling fan operation: The cooling fan inside Aurora monolights is a noise reduction fan, powerful enough to cool down the units.
- Fast recycling time: Aurora monolights have one of the fastest recycling times.
- Aurora monolights are very lightweight.
- The Orion monolight is adjustable in 1/10 stop increments.
- The Fusion monolight has a color temperature variation of only +/- 100K. Other Aurora flash units have a color temperature variation of +/- 300 - 500K.
